It’s $3,500. That’s all the window sign said. A visual inspection, however, reveals that it’s an automatic pre-'97 Z28 that just passed state inspection two months ago. Bodywork is incredibly clean, save a few scratches and coin-size clearcoat blemishes expected of a car this age.

Bummer!

My guess at that price your probably looking at 125 -15 0 k+ but that’s not the end of the world, these are fairly easy to work on and like most everything from the gen, fairly affordable.

4th gen hardtops are structurally the exact same as T-tops but with a piece of sheet metal welded on top. Some people have even converted their hardtops to T-tops

Well the back of the engine is not easy, good point. I meant more from a complexity stand point, they're easy. Not necessarily from an ease of access.
